March 19th – Attracting the Right Investor

Do you want to increase your chances of success with your capital raising and build long-term relationships with the right investors? During this talk, you will receive concrete tools and insights to navigate a competitive market and take your company to the next level.

We will go through everything from strategic decisions and careful preparation to how to run an effective fundraising process. The focus is on creating a solid foundation for success – from the first contact with investors to the next steps after funding.

The lecture includes:

Strategic considerations

What is required to attract the right type of capital? How do you prepare as a team?

Planning and preparation

Calculations, investor contacts, pitch preparation and common pitfalls.

Agreements and documentation

Owner directives, term sheets and other key documents.

Fundraising process

Planning, quality assurance and follow-up.

What happens after financing?

Build investor relationships and plan the next steps.

May 20th – Successful Team

The team is one of the most crucial factors for success when building a company. What constitutes a successful team, and what pitfalls should be avoided? We will go through what investors look for in a team before making an investment. The team also includes the recruitment of a co-founders, board and advisors, and we will discuss key questions related to this.

Language: The program will be held in Swedish.

Participants: For the lectures to be fully rewarding, two people from each company should participate. The people should have a relevant role such as: founder, CEO, CFO, majority owner or board member.

The lectures are free of charge. Scale-up and start-up companies within Life Science have priority for the course. Others are subject to space.
