Fanny Blom Sustainability report

Today’s achievements, tomorrow’s visions – sustainability

Life science is a vital industry for all of us, as human beings, as Swedes and as global citizens. It is a future sector with enormous potential and a power to innovate that became apparent to the whole world in 2019 when the coronavirus pandemic held all of mankind in its clutches. Developing so many solutions to such complex challenges so quickly clearly demonstrates the problem solving power of the sector. If we can incorporate it into our sustainability work, life sciences will also play a vital role in creating a healthy and sustainable future. A development in which Uppsala will of course take the lead.
